Rick Rea is a prolific musical theatre artist with over a decade of experience coaching actors, singers and instrumentalists. Rick's students can be seen on Broadway, Disney and major regional theatre stages nationwide. However, just as importantly to him, he coaches students who are starting out or in the early stages of their career. You'll be hard pressed to find a coach more patient and personally dedicated to his students' success.
Along with being composer/lyricist in the prestigious, Tony-Award-winning BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop, Rick has directed and/or music directed nearly fifty musicals and has a B.A. in Musical Theatre Performance. With his expertise on both sides of the casting table, he is uniquely equipped to help his students meet the demands of their auditions, performances and personal goals.​
